Coastal Harbor Health System’s Psychiatric Residential Treatment Program (PRTP) offers an inpatient treatment option for adolescents and children struggling with ongoing behavioral, emotional and/or psychiatric problems. Our youth treatment facilities are designed specifically for youth ages 7 – 17 and can be the best treatment option for children whose behavioral issues have persisted despite acute or outpatient interventions.

Since many of our children and adolescents have experienced some form of trauma, our therapists are trained in providing trauma-focused therapy using Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
